Peter Kung, Chairman

Peter is a National Committee Member of the 13th and 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He is a member of the HKSAR Chief Executive’s Policy Unit Expert Group. He is Past President and Advisor of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong as well as Vice President of Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation. Peter was Vice Chairman of KPMG China. He is a Council Member of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Director of CUHK Medical Centre. He is one of the very few Chartered Tax Advisers in Hong Kong who is qualified to practise tax in the mainland. He holds regular meetings with the governments in the mainland and Hong Kong to exchange ideas on taxation and economic policies that affect the two jurisdictions.
Peter is enthusiastic about teaching. He has been appointed Adjunct Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Beijing Normal University and Sun Yat-sen University.
Vincent Tam, Principal

Vincent brings over 30 years of specialized tax advisory experience to his role as Tax Principal, gained through his substantial working experience with Big Four accounting firms and leadership positions at multinational corporations. His deep expertise spans corporate tax compliance and advisory services, including group legal holding restructuring for IPOs, structuring tax-efficient overseas investments, regional tax planning and implementation, tax-efficient financing strategies, cross-border tax planning, corporate tax health checks and tax controversy resolution.
Prior to joining the Company, Vincent was Head of Corporate Tax at Tricor Services Hong Kong (now Vistra). He also held senior management roles with leading global enterprises, including Group Head of Tax at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Asia Pacific Tax Director at Mattel Inc.
Vincent is a graduate of the University of Sydney and a member of both CPA Australia and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Carol Liu, Principal

Carol is a business and tax expert with extensive work experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China and the UK for more than 25 years. She was a Tax Partner of Ernst & Young (EY) leading key global accounts. She was the China Tax Desk Leader of EMEIA market when working with EY London.
She is Immediate Past President (2022-2024) and Advisor of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. She makes contributions to taxation studies and regularly shares her knowledge with professionals as well as tax officials from Hong Kong and abroad.
Carol focuses on business and tax advisory for multi-national companies and domestic enterprises for both outbound and inbound projects, cross-border transactions and restructuring in different regions. Carol has extensive experiences in providing business and tax planning and compliance support for various industries and successful IPO cases, including manufacturing and retailing, real estates, technology and e-commerce, finance institutions and FinTech, energy, transportation and shipping, etc.
Carol is qualified as a China Certified Tax Adviser (CTA), China Certified Public Accountant (CICPA) and Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
